UIBA’S AND HAPPY PONTIST’S KUKAR BRIDGE COLLAPSE THEORY - Prof. Sohei Matsuno | 21 Juni 2012

Kategori: Universitas IBA

This comparative study is a rehearsal with a sparring partner to prepare for a performance with an official independent study team of four-university coalition, on the Kukar Bridge collapse in Indonesia. For this purpose, The Happy Pontist, ‘Kutai Kertanegara bridge collapse,’ happypontist.blogspot.com/, the UK, 1 February 2012, is chosen as a counterpart; since it covers the event in an enough wide range that enables the comparative study to have common agendas in discussions. There’re different concepts, ideas etc between the two theories, however, it’s rather preferable to carry out a comparative study in general. Since, would there be no difference, no comparison could be. This paper shows the differences, analyses them and derives conclusions, quoting any other comment, if it’s useful in discussions. This study judges that the major differences between the two are due to different definitions of the same terms. The writer’s are narrow and rigid vs. the counterpart’s are wide and flexible. This paper’s conclusions are derived from the writer’s norms. May the writer wait for a counter comparative study from different norms?
